The CEDAR LANE MANAGEMENT GROUP is pleased to announce a vocal competition to be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th. The competition will be held on an outdoor stage on Cedar Lane in the heart of Teaneck, NJ. It will begin at 2:00pm.
Up to 10 tenors and 10 sopranos will compete. Each contestant will perform one operatic and one non-operatic selection. There will be professional accompaniment.
A panel of judges will select a winner in each category. The winner of each competition will receive $250 and will have the opportunity to perform at the Feast of San Gennaro in New York City's Little Italy in September 2011, where they will receive an additional $250.
If you are interested in being considered for the competition please fill out this form and return it to us no later than May 16, 2011. Applications are pre-screened and slots are filled on a first come basis.
